About Second Sight Photography

Think back to a time in grade school and you were asked what you wanted to be when you grew up. Then it was Easy to give the answer but for many years after school I kept asking myself this question. To some this is a very sad state of affairs but most of us paint ourselves into a corner and we work dead end jobs for a less than satisfactory pay and on day we wake up at sixty and ask ourselves what accomplishments have we made in our lifetime. For years I would ask myself each and every day what I wanted to be or do with my life and through photography I have found what I have been looking for.

For me taking pictures is just not a job but it’s a passion to ensure the job is done right and meets and goes beyond expectations. For example I thrive on the “Wow” effect. If I can get the wow or just stun someone long enough looking at my pictures I know I have done my job. As a photographer you get to see most things that people miss or just don take the time to see. I think if people would just stop for a few moments and enjoy the beauty this world has to offer our planet would be a much nicer place.

I have won contests and takes cources at St Claire College, but the bulk of my education has been through books and the vast resource of friends in the industry.

Photography is important because people need to record moments in time. Our brains will only get us so far and then we will have to rely on images……..
